Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: October 20, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Suburban Vehicle Shippings. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, communication channels, and auto transport-related services.

By accessing this website, requesting a quote, or arranging a vehicle shipment through us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms, subject to any additional written agreement applicable to your shipment.

In these terms, “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Suburban Vehicle Shippings. “You” and “customer” refer to any individual or entity using our website or requesting or receiving services.

2. Services

Suburban Vehicle Shippings provides information and assistance relating to vehicle transportation, including:

  • Open Car Transport
  • Enclosed Car Transport
  • Door-to-Door Auto Transport
  • State-to-State Auto Transport

Specific services, routes, pickup arrangements, and delivery options depend on availability, vehicle requirements, carrier access, and the terms confirmed for each shipment.

Where transportation is performed by an independent motor carrier or another third-party provider, the respective provider’s responsibilities and contractual terms may also apply. We will clarify our role in a shipment and the identity of the contracting transportation provider as applicable.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer and the transportation arrangements available at the time of quoting.

Pricing may depend on distance, vehicle size and condition, route demand, transport type, pickup and delivery accessibility, scheduling requirements, and other relevant factors.

A quote is not a guaranteed final price unless expressly confirmed as such in writing. If material shipment details change, the price or arrangements may need to be revised.

Any additional charges must be communicated and handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and relevant law. Customers should review the final price, payment schedule, and included services before confirming a shipment.

4. Booking and Confirmation

A quote request does not automatically constitute a confirmed booking.

A shipment is considered confirmed according to the booking procedure and written confirmation provided for that transaction. Customers are responsible for supplying accurate contact details, pickup and delivery addresses, vehicle information, and scheduling preferences.

Pickup dates and delivery times may be estimates unless an expressly agreed written commitment states otherwise. Carrier availability, weather, traffic, road restrictions, mechanical issues, and other circumstances can affect schedules.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the vehicle, its condition, dimensions, and operating status.
  • Disclose modifications, unusual ground clearance, oversized components, or special loading requirements.
  • Ensure the vehicle is available at the agreed pickup location and time.
  • Prepare the vehicle according to the carrier’s instructions.
  • Remove personal belongings and unauthorized items before transport.
  • Provide keys and relevant vehicle documentation as required.
  • Ensure that the person releasing or receiving the vehicle is authorized to do so.
  • Review inspection records and document the vehicle’s condition at pickup and delivery.
  • Pay applicable charges according to the confirmed agreement.

Failure to provide accurate information or meet agreed responsibilities may affect scheduling, loading, pricing, or the ability to complete a shipment.

6. Vehicle Preparation and Personal Belongings

Customers must prepare their vehicles according to the instructions provided for the shipment. This may include securing loose accessories, disabling alarms where appropriate, leaving an agreed fuel level, and making the vehicle accessible for inspection.

Personal belongings should not be left in the vehicle unless expressly permitted under the applicable shipping arrangement. Items left inside a vehicle may be excluded from carrier coverage, subject to applicable law and the relevant policy.

Customers should not place prohibited, hazardous, illegal, or otherwise unauthorized items in a vehicle being transported.

7. Pickup and Delivery

Pickup and delivery locations must be reasonably accessible to the assigned carrier. Large transport vehicles may be unable to enter certain residential streets, private roads, gated communities, parking structures, or locations subject to height, weight, or vehicle restrictions.

If direct access is unsafe or impractical, an alternative nearby meeting point may be required.

Customers should remain reachable during the agreed pickup and delivery windows. Delays or changes should be communicated as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Inspections and Vehicle Condition

The vehicle’s condition should be documented at pickup and delivery using the applicable inspection report, bill of lading, photographs, or other relevant records.

Customers should review these records carefully and report apparent discrepancies promptly according to the applicable procedures. Signing a document may have legal consequences, so customers should understand its contents before signing.

Any damage claim must be handled according to the applicable carrier agreement, insurance terms, and law. Customers should retain copies of all relevant records.

9. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Payment obligations, deposits, cancellation charges, refunds, and any balance due will be governed by the terms disclosed and accepted for the individual shipment, subject to applicable law.

Customers should obtain written clarification of cancellation deadlines, refund eligibility, and any nonrefundable amounts before booking.

If a shipment is delayed, changed, or cancelled by a transportation provider, the applicable agreement will determine the available remedies and responsibilities. Nothing in these terms removes any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Insurance and Liability

Transportation insurance, cargo coverage, exclusions, deductibles, claim limits, and responsibility for loss or damage depend on the carrier, policy, and applicable agreement.

Customers should ask for relevant carrier and insurance information before shipment confirmation and should not assume that personal belongings, mechanical problems, pre-existing damage, or every type of loss are covered.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law. Any allocation of responsibility between Suburban Vehicle Shippings, a carrier, and other providers is subject to the applicable contracts and legal requirements.

11. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Control

Transportation may be affected by severe weather, traffic, road closures, government restrictions, mechanical failures, emergencies, and other circumstances outside a party’s reasonable control.

Where permitted by law, reasonable adjustments to pickup or delivery schedules may be necessary. Relevant parties should communicate material delays and revised arrangements as reasonably practicable.

12. Website Information

We aim to keep website information accurate and useful. However, descriptions of services, general estimates, and informational content do not guarantee a particular price, schedule, carrier assignment, or transportation outcome.

Customers should rely on the written terms confirmed for their specific shipment when determining the applicable arrangements.

13. Third-Party Providers and Links

Our website may refer to independent carriers, service providers, or third-party websites. Such providers may have their own terms, privacy practices, and policies.

We do not automatically control third-party websites or services. Customers should review the relevant provider’s terms before entering into a separate transaction.

14. Privacy

Information collected through our website or during the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, graphics, and other original materials may not be copied, republished, or commercially reused without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by law.

16. Prohibited Use

You must not use this website for unlawful purposes, submit knowingly false information, interfere with website operations, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse our content or communication channels.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.

Changes will apply as permitted by law. A separate written shipment agreement may continue to govern a booking according to its own terms.

18. Governing Law

These terms are subject to the laws applicable to the relevant transaction and parties. Any governing-law or dispute-resolution provision must be interpreted consistently with applicable federal and state law.
